In Hindi, Sahasa means courage, and that’s just what this fair trade initiative gives to the artisans behind it. What started as a partnership between a Jewellery Designer in Australia, and a women’s development group in India, has expanded to so much more. Reaching out to the far corners of the globe (Africa, South East Asia, and India - to name a few), Sahasa features carefully curated products from all over the world. Some are designed in Australia and lovingly brought to life by our fair trade artisans abroad, others go from design to conception at the hands of the Sahasa artisans - the heartbeat of our great company. The best bit of all? Sahasa only partners with companies who are certified members of the Fair Trade Federation, ensuring the practices and conditions for all our artisans are ethical, sustainable and fair.

Others will begin to grab at mum’s hair or skin, as they search for something to hold on to. Courtney and her baby Athea[…]
